The Nuermberg Jazz Label Rosenau Records was founded in 2016 by Rainer Pirzkall. With his own band »Carlos Reisch« he started the first release of his label. The album »The Big Band Rapertoire« was recorded in the sound studio of Thilo Wolf with a musicians cast including 20 members.

The look of the album was designed with photos by Uwe Niklas. It shows insight in the production of the sound recording. By it's coloring and imagery it points up the fun and at the same time the professionality of the musicians. The thrilling and very well done mixture of funk, rap and jazz gets it's visual complement.
